Before Installation:
Installation of Stretch Satin Car Cover requires a few precautions. First ensure that the vehicle is clean and dust free. The first installation step includes unrolling the car cover over the hood of your vehicle. Lock kits have a vinyl coated cable equipped with a metal piece on one end and a loop attached to the other end of the cable. You have to start installing the lock kit from the passenger side of the draped vehicle by fixing the loop of the cable at a position of around two inches through the grommet. Thereafter, take the metal piece end along under the grommet; through the loop of the first cable end and pull it under the car to the driver’s side. Now push the cable from outside the cover by two inches and easily lock the end piece to the cable body.
Important Installation Instructions:
While installing the Stretch Satin Car Cover, please take extra care to ensure that the car cover never comes in contact with your exhaust tips if they are hot or if they are sharp edged. This precaution is necessary because if the Cover comes in touch with exhaust tips which are too hot or sharp edged, it is likely to melt instantly.
In case the car is equipped with an antenna, you need to make an opening in the car cover for proper installation. To achieve this, first of all, you need to take away the antenna and place the Stretch Satin Car Cover over the vehicle. Thereafter as you figure out the base of the antenna, you can cut a small portion of your car cover at the position where the antenna touches the base of the car.
